Chairman, DMET
A leading dental surgeon in the country, who
was awarded the “Padmashree” by
the President of India, for his dedicated services
to the progress of dentistry in the country.
He was commissioned to prepare “The Amendments
to the Dentists Act, 1948,” by the Ministry
of Health. |
He
is the author of the “Oral Health Policy
Guidelines for the Commonwealth Countries”
and “The National Oral Health Policy.”
He has been the Honorary Dental Surgeon to the
former Presidents of India. Prime Minister of
India, Ministers and Members of the Indian Parliament.
He is the Dental Advisor to the Ministry of
Health and Family Welfare, Government of India.

Dr. Himanshu Aeran, an alumni of King George’s
Medical College Lucknow, is one of the renowned
Dental Surgeons and Prosthodontist in the country.
He did his BDS in 1987 and MDS (Prosthodontics)
in 1990 from Dental College & Hospital, KGMC,
Lucknow. A meritorious student throughout his
student career with many academic awards and scholarship.
Prof. Aeran has also pursued a course on Precision
Attachment Anchora in Germany. Prof. Himanshu
Aeran is a Fellow of the International College
of Dentists & Pierre Fouchard Academy,
U.S.A. In his long &
illustrious career he has been instrumental

setting up various institutes of repute. Prof.
Aeren has the distinction of being the dental
expert to U.G.C. & Public Service Commission
of various State, subject expert of various prestigious
university like Jamia Milia University, Delhi
University & A.I.I.M.S etc. |
He
is a regular Keynote/Guest speaker of Speciality
Dental Conference at National/State level. He
was Co-Chairman of the scientific committee of
the 3rd world congress on Prosthodontics and Federation
Dentaire Internationale conference held at New
Delhi. He was awarded the best Indian Dental Association
President, U.P. State for community service in
the year 2000. |
